Sector4 Interactive (S4) collaborated with Toyota ALJ to develop an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) Web Application as part of a dynamic marketing campaign for Toyota's new vehicle release. This marker-based AR experience engaged event participants in an interactive challenge to discover virtual donuts placed throughout the event space.
The goal was to create a fun, immersive experience that not only entertained participants but also boosted engagement with the Toyota brand. By integrating gamification elements, the campaign aimed to attract a wider audience and enhance brand recall.
S4 designed a cutting-edge AR web application using marker-based technology. Participants used their smartphones to scan markers distributed around the event area, uncovering 8 unique virtual donuts. The challenge was to find all donuts in the least amount of time to secure a spot on the leaderboard and win exciting rewards. The seamless AR integration provided a smooth user experience with real-time tracking and interactive visuals.
The campaign captured participant interest, fostering high engagement and competitive excitement. The leaderboard feature encouraged repeat participation, while the AR-driven interactions created memorable brand experiences. This project highlighted the power of AR technology in enhancing marketing strategies and driving audience interaction.
